A galapagos giant tortoise peers inquisitively into my wide-angle lens. Perhaps attracted to their own reflections, these large reptiles are easy to photograph once you locate one. If disturbed, their heads recoil back into their carapace, but if you remain still for just a brief moment, their heads will pop out again and you can resume photographing. Galapagos Islands, Ecuador
