Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park is one of four old-growth redwood forests which in combination are designated a World Heritage Site. Together the four parks contain almost half of the redwood reserves in the state of California. The vast range of abundant life in these parks includes many endangered species.These two rich bands of color in this long exposure meet at the edge of the North American continent between earth and sky.
